INTRODUCTION:

 

Viviana Preschool and Creche was started in January 2012, with the motive of giving quality education to the students and teachers coming here. Mrs. Gauri Joshi has been working in this field for the last 27 years. This vast experience has helped her develop several institutes, teachers, and students. The passion for training teachers and students has shown very good results and this has made her outstanding amongst all.

Throughout the year VIVIANA has a full-fledged activity-based program for the children. From academics, celebrations, festivals, field trips, and annual socials to value education.

Viviana is running the preschool from Play Group to Senior KG following the CBSE pattern. We have added our syllabus which concentrates on the development of the interest of the child in the studies as well as the overall curriculum. The syllabus is completed with great interest and enthusiasm by both the teachers and students. The children are groomed in such a way that they can easily cope with the Primary level education. Being a small school our training reaches one-to-one and gives the best results.

We are using several wooden toys and teaching aids for their motor skill development. We use the Shloka chanting and other tongue-twisting exercises to develop a sharp vocabulary in the children. The children are introduced to the variety of books in the Library. This creates an interest in reading more, other than in electronic gadgets. They do their science projects. They attend field trips. They also participate in the social programs we conduct. We teach them different types of exercises including Yoga, breathing techniques, stretching, bending and so many more. Our overall way of implementation has given us a very good result, goodwill and it has helped the children.

 

From Oct 2015 we have started another batch of pre-primary schools for socially deprived children with nominal fees. We have started getting good responses for the same. Our main motto of spreading education and making society educated is achieved here.  By giving education to these children VIVIANA feels that we can decrease the ratio of crime, and poverty and we feel that we would be able to educate the whole family. We started Play Group to Senior KG for the SSC board syllabus. To make it affordable for the middle or lower middle class we started this batch. The concept of this school is a bookless bag. The children solve only worksheets and carry them home monthly. Basic stationery is been provided by us. They come in a regular uniform. They follow the discipline and culture of VIVIANA in their future studies too. Being from a lower middle-class family, these children value the methods of teaching and are very much devoted to study and inculcate the habits developed by us. We have experienced our children getting admissions in the best of the schools on merit.

We also run a full-fledged daycare Centre. Our daycare is like a second home for all the children. As they are away from their parents for the whole day we make them feel at home. We give special care and training to the infant right from the age of 4 1/2 months up to 10 years. We nurture them with values, discipline, love, and faith. The hot fresh food cooked for them increases their appetite and energy daily given in 4 different meals. The children start eating all types of vegetables and meals prepared in the daycare. Right from breakfast to evening snacks, fruit, and milk, children are provided ample and quality food. They are taught the daily prayers to be said to thank god for giving this beautiful life and then eat the meals. This culture and bonding with the life rules helps the child become very humble and down to earth with great values. Our elder children need to be kept more busy than the young ones as they become more curious as their age grows. Hence these children who are in the daycare learn many new activities which are increasing their knowledge day by day. They are trained to do their daily homework. A daycare child is always very confident and independent in doing his / her activities.  The caring staff has built up a bond between the children and themselves. This makes the children want to come to the crèche daily. The parent is relaxed keeping their child in our daycare as they can fulfill their dreams of having a successful career.

Along with the academics and daycare we have many other activities conducted here. Dance classes, Activity Club, Abacus Classes, Summer and Winter Camps. The world of VIVIANA is full of life. We have lot many children coming from various schools for these activities every year.

According to a recent study by Dr. Louise Hardy, “Prevalence and correlates of low fundamental movement skill competency in children”, published in the international journal Pediatrics, most children are unskilled at basic movements such as throwing, running, and jumping. This lack of fundamental movement (or gross motor) skills is a direct result of sedentary lifestyles. Without basic movement skills, children are far less likely to participate in sports or play with their friends, have lower fitness levels, and are more prone to being overweight or obese.

 

But a lack of basic movement skills is not only affecting the physical health of our children, it can also have a lasting impact on their emotional well-being and academic performance. Gross motor activities stimulate the basic foundations of physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. The skills learned through practicing these actions are required for school readiness and inherently develop fine motor skills which are a precursor for literacy, numeracy, and activities of daily living such as independent dressing and toileting. Unfortunately, today many children are not being given the chance to adequately acquire these motor skills, with statistics showing that the average child spends far less than the recommended 60 minutes per day exercising and a staggering 32.5 hours each week in front of the television.

Most importantly, however, many parents mistakenly believe that children naturally learn fundamental movement skills. But children need to be taught them, and this is particularly so given the reasons outlined above. “We need to make time to encourage our children away from sedentary activities and help facilitate a healthy and active lifestyle. “Through organized sports, children learn essential skills they carry for life.”

Now we turn to the other ventures we run. We practice a government-recognized project based on “WOMAN EMPOWERMENT”. It is the Pre-primary teachers training course for women who have a liking and passion to be a Teacher. All we need is that she should have passed her SSC exam. This course has been approved by the Central and State Govt. The name of the course is Mahila Wyavsay Prashikshan Abhiyan – Teacher’s Training Course. We are an authorized Centre of Mahila Vyavasay located at 8 places in Pune. Recently I have got permission to set up centers all over Maharashtra. Our first Center has commenced in Kolhapur.

My students who have done the course run these Centers. This course covers all the fields of the syllabus of the children. We teach simple methods to the teachers so that they can develop the children’s motor skills. We teach these teachers soft skills, spoken English, self-grooming, and administrative skills along with the academic course. This results in a complete brand of Viviana preschool. The course fees are been charged as per the government rules. After completion of this course, the candidate can either take a job in private or corporate schools or start her venture in this field. Viviana aims to empower a woman to make herself financially free. We have a Diploma course also in this field. The interested ones can take advantage of their development and enroll in the course immediately. This will help the Teacher to get a school job.

Added to this we have many other courses lined up - Professional Beautician Course,  German / Japanese language classes, Tibetan Sound Healing Course, Share market investment trading course. We are now open for Franchises all over Maharashtra. We also give consultation in starting a new school venture from pre-primary to 10th class, daycare, and other aligned activity centers. The approximate duration required for setting up a school is for a minimum of 3 years or more. We also take back office management of daycare and school.

 

 

Here we would be working in the capacity of an Administrative Consultant to develop the business of your Institute. We will be guiding you in the following areas of work:

 

1. Set up the school building with proper dimensions and specifications along with a regular administration pattern.

2. Designing the Campus for the school. Maximum utilization with minimum expenses would be suggested as per the budget of the Institute.

3. Designing the syllabus for Preprimary.

4. Designing the activities for Daycare.

5. Guiding the advertisement and other digital aids to achieve the admissions of the school.

6. Guiding the management to set up the recruitment, discipline, rules, and regulations amongst the staff and train them.

7. Similarly, guidance would be given to develop new courses. 

8. We will also impart soft skills and academic training sessions to teachers and other staff.

9. We will train teachers in study techniques and skills.
